In general these resources take an analytical approach to issues that relate to the criminal justice system, prisons, jails, sentencing, approaches to prisoner release, recidivism. The sources discuss trends, what the experts are thinking and advocating, statistics about the rate of incarceration, recidivism, etc.; the history of certain corrections issues and proposed solutions for the problems related to the corrections. We invite comment on these materials and viewer submissions of their own material that touches on these subjects.

The Justice Center

The Justice Center coordinates the Reentry Policy Council, which provides bipartisan recommendations and resources that policy makers can use to improve the likelihood that adults released from prison or jail will avoid crime and become productive members of families and communities.
